From June 30 to July 4 2010 the fifth edition of the Independent producers’ International film festival will be held in Constanta and Mamaia
For five days professional students and cinema-goers will also enjoy movies, awards, an international production training, a coproduction offer - contest for a digital feature film worth EUR 100,000 in services, special events and workshops. The Festival is organized by the Film and Audiovisual Producers Union in Romania –The Patronage of Film and Television Producing Companies - UPFAR PSPCTin partnership with the County Council of Constanta and Fantasio Foundation, with support from the National Centre for Cinematography.
The Independent Producers International Film Festival – IPIFF5 is anannual international event that primarily aims to promote Romanian film, the identity and personality of the producer. IPIFF5 is the only event in Romania that presents the public the entire naţional movie production premiered from July 2009 to July 2010.
Monday, June 28, 2010, at 12:00 the first IPIFF5 Press Conference will be held at Cityplex Constanta Tomis Mall.
On this occasion you can find the latest information about IPIFF5, festival program, locations and some information about ongoing events surprises for the fifth edition of the International Festival of Independent Film Producers.
Due to some technical problems of incompatibility of the site with some browsers, I was informed that materials posted on the site www.ipiff.ro release could not be accessed, which is why we want to announce an extension of both the materials needed to be send until accreditation on June 26, 2010, and, hopefully you will receive on time the information on IPIFF5 press credentials as follows, :
Press accreditation for the Independent Producers Film Festival can only be obtained in advance by 30 June 2010 inclusive, on the first day of the festival, from the IPIFF Press Center located at Cityplex Tomis Mall Constanta, from 10 -14.
Press accreditation allows access to all the films in the Festival, but only on accreditation that ensures reservation of a place in the film room, at the press conferences, behind the scene of the Festival to interview guests, and other events held under the aegis of IPIFF.
For accreditation one must submit a repuest before Saturday, June 26, 2010 for journalists in Bucharest - until June 28, 2010 for journalists in Constanta. Accreditation form must be filled in and sent to ioana@ipiff.ro (Iulia Ioana Huiduc) or fax 4 / 021 / 310.09.04. You find the accreditation form attached below.
The accreditation form must be accompanied by a photo of the journalist seeking accreditation and sent to ioana@ipiff.ro.
Accreditation is not allowed for two people of the same newspaper (reporter and photographer).
Accreditation will be nominal and will contain the photo of the person accredited. The owner is likely to be asked in different situations to present an ID. This measure is needed to ensure a smooth conduct of the festival.
