"A Drop of Sea" is a challenge to teenagers from Constanta and all of Romania, to those who with passion, dedication and talent have made the National Film Festival "Filmmic" the main Spring CULTURAL EVENT in Constanta.
"A Drop of Sea" is a one minute short film contest to be held at the festival and will address the 14-18 years age segment, from high school.
Reaching the third edition it has seen a great interest from pre-university students. The project aims to stimulate artistic creativity in the audiovisual domain, raise awareness about the problems of society and challenges the participants to find solutions for them.
This year's festival theme is “Contribute! Do not be indifferent.”
"A Drop of Sea" is organized by IPIFF5 and is dedicated to high school students across the country. The festival is a way to send a message of education, from students to students, but also a springboard for those wishing to build a career in film.
Conditions for participation:
1.The film's length must not exceed one minute.
2. They must be accompanied by a statement containing the producer's identification data - also video information (title, length, script, director, picture, actors, short synopsis) and a photograph of the producer as well as three representative images from the video.
3. Movies must be submitted to the competition at ioana@ipiff.ro (by sending materials from section 2) until June 30.
4. Films must be sent on DVD to Dem. I. Dobrescu Street. 4-6, Et. 3, Room 44, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, PO Box 010 026 until June 25, 2010 and also sent by transfer.ro in FLV format, MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 until June 22, 2010.
