Premieres at IPIFF The producers of two feature fiction films, a documentary feature and an indie film have decided to launch their productions at the official premiere of IPIFF5.
The minimalistic documentary "Memory in Stone" by Iosef Demian was released Friday from 16.00 at Tomis Mall Cityplex. The Festival's President Dinu Tanase, explained the subject of the film to the ones present. It is a cinematic essay in wich the spirit and the image of Rosia Montana can be found.

Friday at 18:30 the gala projection for the production "Kino Carvana" took place in front of a small but entusiast public.
Dinu Tanase, the festival's producer, said that many directors, including himself, would have wanted to screen Ion Grosan's novel since the 80s. It is a film "desired by a generation and made by another " he said.

Titus Munteanu,a transilvanian director, has made an exceptional movie in a typical Romanian setting, that will be able to bring at least a smile on everyone's face. The subtle jokes, the contrast between the worlds of the characters, the situation,are all part of one of the best black comedies from the past recent years in Romania.
Adriana Papp is the director at Citiplex Cinema and a big fan of the new wave of Romanian filmmakers. She loves her workplace (and how could she not love it, when it is a cinema).But more than anything she loves movies and IPIFF, fortunately, deals exactly with that.
