NPA Training

The festival, first and foremost dedicated to film producers, IPIFF 2006, is glad to invite you to take part in a training in film production, organized in collaboration with the New Producers Alliance (NPA) from the United Kingdom. This training’s most important purpose is to help establish a better relationship and communication between independent Romanian producers and foreign ones.

NPA (www.npa.org.uk) is a membership organization set up in 1993, supported by the UK Film Council. NPA prepares young independent filmmakers in the fields of film production and networking. Led by industry professionals, NPA organizes training programmes and workshops for young filmmakers at the start of their career as well as for those willing to develop their networking or creative abilities.

The training will take place between 5-9th of September 2006, in the conference hall of the Florida hotel in Mamaia. It will be sustained by Anita Lewton, NPA Head of Training and member of the organization’s Executive Committee, independent producer (general manager of London production companies E2 Projects and This Film Company), TV/ cinema screenwriter and member of the Advisory Board of Film London East Projects.

The training sets out to follow in a concise manner all essential stages of film production, detailing in each of its 5 days, 12-17 PM, a different aspect of the field.
